MONTH’S HOSPITAL CASES

INCREASE IN DEATHS. During November 614 patients were admitted to the Wellington Hospital, as agaiust 556 for the corresponding month of last year. The discharges from the institution numbered 703, as compared with 500 a year ago. Deaths during the month totalled 48 (30 males and 18 females). In November twelve months ago there were 34 deaths (19 males and 15 females). Operations totalled 324, an increase of 31 when compared with the operations during November, 1927.
