Ware, reached Ellerslie this morning. being the first visitors to put in an appearance. Both horses look well enough, Gold Tinge being a fully-grown youngster. Roman Pearl and The Lover were sent to Te Awamutu this morning. They are the only Ellerslie-trained candidates for the meeting. The Waipa meeting will open to-morrow, and with a number of Auckland Cup and Railway Handicap candidates claiming engagements the meeting should be well patronised.
