Mr. C. White, of Tollesbury, Essex, has won the winkle-picking championship of East Anglia by picking list. 21b. of winkles in It hours. Mr. White was opposed by Mr. A. Page, the suffolk champion, who picked Ost. 101 b. The winkles had to be washed ready for sale.
