ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

THE BRITISH DELEGATION Advice has been received by the Hon. Sir It. Heaton Rhodes, chairman of the Dominion Executive of the St. John Ambulance Association, that a delegation of prominent members of the Order in England has arrived at Fremantle. The members are Sir John Prescott Hewett, G.C.5.1., K.8.E., C.I.E. (Bailiff Grand Cross), Major C. Macßae, C.8.E., (Knight of Justice), Lady Margaret Macßae, 0.8. E. (Dame of Justice), and Mrs. Atkinson (Dame of Grace). On landing in Australia the delegation cabled greetings to Sir Heaton Rhodes and members of the Dominion Council, and expressed pleasure at the prospect of meeting members of the Order in the Dominion. The delegation will arrive at Auckland on January 14, and will sail for England on February 2. A tentative itinerary provides for calls at Rotorua, Wairakei, Napier, Palmerston North, Wanganui, Wellington (January 2224), Christchurch, Timaru, Mount Cook and Dunedin.
