AMENDED PRAYER BOOK

PUBLICATION NOT FORBIDDEN (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) London. December 3. Tn the House of Commons Mr. Baldwin. answering a question suggesting legislation to forbid the publication of the amended Prayer Book without the sanction by Parliament, replied that It would be a gross and unprecedented interference to prohibit the publication of any' literary work. The preface specifically pointed out that the act of publication in no way implied that the book was authorised for use in the Established Church.
