ONSLOW SUMMER SHOW
LIST OF AWARDS
The Onslow Horticultural and Beauh lying Society held its *.“h o“ show at the Public Hall, Khandallah, on Saturday last. Notwithstanding the many couute tractions, there was a fair number public present, and the society ca gratulate itself on another very su ful show. The blooms shown were wen up to standard. A feature of th was some very fine lupins grown by ■ B. Gibbons. The champion rose '' as a “Mrs. Barraclough,” grown by MJ • K. Porteous. It was pleasing to see the large DU '"bcr of entries in the childrens classes- J. 1 "- I ,® were 27 entries for the best gentlemans buttonhole, the first prize being awarded to Nona freays and second to Grace Brooker. Specimen ot . handwriting for children under 14 brought tortb no lower than 15 entries, first prize being awarded to Sylvia Hefford, second to Elra Williams, h.c., Diana Palmer and Nona Reais.
