TOWN v. COUNTRY.

The following eleven has been selected to represent Country versus Town at Wellington on December 7 and 8: — Lowry, O’Brien, Ready, and Mitchell (Hawke’s Bay), Lamason and Hoar (Wairarapa), Cameron (Rangitikei), Gallichan and Norris (Manawatu), Neale and Newman (Nelson). Reserves: Eden (Nelson), Stephenson (Hawke’s Bay), Kinzett (Nelson), Lyon (Rangitikei). Owing to Taranaki and Wanganui having arranged to play a Hawke Cup trial on the same days, no players from these districts are included in the Country team.
