PUBLIC NOTICES. WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at L’ a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on Thursday, November 15, 1928, the following resolution was passed:— The Wellington City Council, pursuant to the provisions of the Hutt Road Act, 1915. the Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1917, the Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1922, the YVellingtou City and Suburban Highways Construction and Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1924, the Wellington City and Suburban Highways Construction and Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1927. the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and their respective Amendments, and in pursuance of all other Acts and powers (if any) it enabling, doth hereby, with the consent of the YVellingtou City and Suburban Highways Board of Control, resolve, by way of Special Order: — 1. That a Special Loan of Five thousand pounds (£5000). to be known as “The YVellington City and Suburban Highways Loan, 1928, No. 2,” be raised by the YVellington City Council for the purpose of carrying out works aud operations authorised by the YVellingtou City aud Suburban Highways Construction and Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1924, and tlie Wellington City and Suburban Highways Construction and Hutt Road Amendment Act, 1927, namely, constructing with permanent materials the Ngahauranga Gorge Road. 2. That the interest on the said Loan K. at a rate not exceeding Five pounds tfii shillings (£5 10s.) pct centum per annum, payable half-yearly during the currency of the said Loan, being a period of T'ifteeu (15) years from the First day of March, 1929. 3. That a Sinking Fund of 1“ our pounds twelve shillings and sixpence (£4 12s. 6d.) per centum per annum be established in connection with the said Loan. 4. That the security for the repayment of the said Loan and the interest, sinkin” fund, and other charges thereon be the security specified in the Wellington City and Suburban Highways Construction and Ilutt Road Amendment Act, 1924, being a special rate on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Cty of Wellington, the Boroughs of Petoiie, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, and Eastbourne, tlie Counties of Hutt and Makara, and the Town District of Johnsonville, so calculated as to yield the interest, sinking fund, and other charges of tlie said Loan, and 10 per cent, additional on the sum of these amounts. . 5 That no portion of interest or sinking fund be paid out of the loan money. 6.
