-J MIRAMAR CLUB At Miramar last Saturday a threesection stroke handicap event was played, S. Gambrill with a score of 78-4— 74 winning the senior section, L. A. Bath, 85—9 —76, the intermediate, and T. Day, 90—18—72, the junior. In the gold button event, open to all players who have won a stroke or bogey competition during the season, the winner was S. Gambrill. on In the final for the Magnus Cup, 36 holes, between P. White-Parsons and J. A. Mitchell, the players tied, and in the replay White-Parsons won 2 —l. The Richardson Cup, postponed on account of bad weather, will he played on Saturday next, closing day of the 1928 season, when the prizes will be presented.
