FILM ACCIDENT

KEYSOR AWARDED DAMAGES (Australian Press Association.) London, November 20. Lieutenant Leonard Keysor, V.C., late of the Australian Imperial Force, who sued the film producer, G. B. Samuelson, for damages for injuries received in filming a re-enactment of the Gallipoli bombing episode, for which plaintiff was decorated, was awarded £675 damages. The assistant-producer gave evidence that the accident was due to the premature firing of gunpowder. An electrician deposed that he carried out his instructions to fire the charge as a sandbag was dropped.
