SWEATED GOODS
QUESTION IN HOUSE OF COMMONS (British Official Wireless.) London, November 19. Asked in the House of Commons whether he was aware that all parties desired to prevent the competition and consumption of sweated goods, and whether he would obtain a report as to the wages, hours, and health conditions in the Levant dried fruit trade, the President of the Board of Trade. Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, answered in the negative.
