VICTORIAN MINISTRY

DEFEATED AGAIN ■ PREMIER’S TEST VOTE Melbourne, November 21. The Ministry has again been defeated. The Premier, Mr. E. J. Hogan, moved the adjournment as a test vote, saying that if the motion was rejected, it would clearly indicate that the Ministry no longer possessed the confidence of the House. The motion was defeated by 34 to 28. . A dissolution of the House will probably not be sought, as it is regarded as undesirable to have an election so soon after the Federal contest. NATIONALIST MINISTRY TO BE FORMED (Rec. November 21, 10.20 p.m.) Melbourne, November 21. The Hogan Labour Government resigned to-day. Sir William McPherson is to form a Ministry, which will consist completely of Nationalists.
