TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.

Meteorological Office, Wellington, November 21, 4 p.m.

Depressions are located over southern New Zealand and Tasmania respectively. The anti-cyclone over eastern Australia yesterday is now in the northern Tasman, but has decreased greatly in intensity, rendering a severe southerly change unlikely. Moderate to strong northerly winds, backing later to west or in places to south-west. Seas generally smooth to moderate, but rather rough in parts of Cook Strait and the far south. Moderate to strong north to west winds, and moderate to rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Some scattered showers, chiefly in western districts, but mainly fall to fine and becoming somewhat cooler.
