The mother falls in love with the count, while the daughter favours the nephew with her affections, and promises to lie his wife. .Madame Laverne, on learning of her daughter's love affair, takes I lie vounger man to her arms as a future son-in-law. and while they are clasped together. Count Castello accidentally sees them, anil believes that the other is making love to liis future wife. The count makes plans to foil the young people's marriage, but tlu> involved plot ends io a double honeymoon.
