FUND TOPS £86,000 DONATIONS FROM CHINESE RESIDENTS > Whilst the big fund for the National Gallery and Dominion Museum continues* to increase daily, it is scarcely to be expected that it wll now mount up in large sums. With the latest donations, the fund exceeds £86,000, and the campaign for the remaining £14,000 still goes merrily forward. The latest donations include the substantial amount of £228 10s. 6d., subscribed by the Chinese residents of Wellington—a donation which mayserve as an example to other national groups in the province.
