ELDERLY MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER (Rec. October 31, 10.45 p.m.) Melbourne, October 31. 3lrs. 3largaret Searon, housekeeper for her brother-in-law, Joseph Livingston, aged GG, was found dead at her home at Frankston, a seaside resort, to-day, with severe gashes in the neck. The body was found face downwards in the back-yard. Livingston, who is a t estate agent, was discovered in the front room with his throat cut, but able to speak. He told the police he intended to commit suicide, but changed his mind. He was arrested and charged with murder.
