At the League of Nations, Government experts have, resumed the discussion on double taxation and fiscal evasion. The suggestion was before them that shipping companies should be taxed only in countries in which their real centres of management are situated. Sir Samuel Instone, director of Imperial Airways, London, as representative ol the International Chamber of Commerce, stated that the air transport companies wished the same principle to be applied to themselves.
