Larsen, sailed this evening from San Pedro harbour for the Antarctic. WILKINS AT MONTE VIDEO (Australian Press, Assn.—United Service.) (Rec. October-11, 5.5 p.m.) Montevideo, October 10. Sir George Wilkins, with two companion explorers, arrived here to-day on the steamer Southern Cross. They will remain two weeks, after which they will embark by the steamer Victoria for Deception Island to establish a base.
