METHOD OF SELECTION (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 7. Addressing the English cricket learn which is going to Australia, at Scarborough, Lord Harris told how the players had been selected by the committee. which consisted of Lord Harris and Messrs. Douglas, Gilligan, Leve-son-Gower, and Mann. These selectors co-opted the services of Messrs. Warner, Curr, and Hobbs. At their meeting each member wrote down his ideal selection for the team to Australia. There was unanimity as to nine players and the remainder of the seventeen players wore determined by vote.
