NEW BRIGHTON MEETING BILLY SEA WINS BURWOOD HANDICAP By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, September 8. The New Brighton Trotting Club hold its une-day meeting to-day. The weather was line and the course in excellent condition. The attendance was good and the totalisntor handled £21,500 10s. It is impossible to make a comparison of the fig,ures as the meeting was held on a different day this year from previous years. On March 17, 1928, also a Saturday, investments were £21,002 10s. Williams, Kitehingham and llay"JMr. A. E. Adams, of Otahuhu, telegraphed stating that he had arranged to sell The Abbey to Mr. M. J. Moodabc. He asked whether the association would grant a transfer. He also wrote stating that the dispute over The Abbey was settled as far as the Courts .were concerned. It was decided to reply stating that the application for registration would be considered when it came before the board.
