HOCKEY REPRESENTATIVE DIES
0 WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT GAME POSTPONED. By Telegraph-—Press Association. Timaru, September 5. Miss Flora Mackenzie, aged 19, a member of the Southland hockey team, which is participating in the Womens Championship tournament, died in hospital this morning. ■ She became ill nt a dance on Saturday, and lapsed into unconsciousness. It| is believed that the cause of death is spinal meningitis. All the morning games have been postponed.
