MOTOR COLLISIONS
PRINCESS MARIE LOUISE INJURED (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 3. Princess Marie Louise, cousin to the King, has been involved in a motorcar collision near Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The windscreen of tire Princess’s car was smashed, and she was cut about the face, her nose being rather badly injured. The Princess is the daughter of the late Prince and Princess Christian. MR. NELSON AND PARTY IN A SMASH (United Service.) London, September 3. - Mr. Olaf Nelson, leader of the Samoan malcontents, his daughter Lucy, and his secretary, Mr. Rex Pleasant, were fhuong eight injured in a motor smash at a narrow canal bridge at Watford, near Rugby, owing to a broadside collision. Both cars were extensively damaged, and crashed into a hedge. The occupants were thrown on the roadway. Mr. Nelson had a cut forehead and eyelid. The daughter and secretary are suffering from shock. Tire chauffeur, Hoskins, is in hospital with head injuries.
