BY-LAW CASES

By-law cases were dealt with by Messrs. W. A. Worth and H. Price, J.P.’s, in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Thomas Saunders was fined £1 for failing to notify change of ownership of a motor-car.

Passing a stationary tramcar cost Walter H. Ballinger 10s. Theodore F. Furlong and Reginald E. Montgomery were each fined 10s. for not having their vehicles properly lighted. The Todd Motor Co. were fined ss. on each of three charges of permitting the use of motor-cars without endorsed certificates. Lawrence A. Whitaker was fined 10s. for cutting a corner. For driving a motor-cycle iu a dangerous manner, Austin V. Radcliffe was fined £l. He was fined a similar amount for having a defective silencer on his motorcycle. Percival R.
