The “Berliner Tageblatt” says that the military authorities at Cuxhaven are purchasing a large plot of land in a sparsely inhabited area at the junction of the Ellie and Kiel Canals for gas experiments. A massive building ..is being erected for the storage of steel containers. The gas, which is presumably non-poisonous. if is proposed to use similarly, to naval smoke screens, enveloping places of importance in case of hostile air attacks.
