MINING INDUSTRY
INCREASING LOSS IN SOUTH WALES (United Service.) Loudon, September 2. The trading loss in the South Wales coal mining industry for the quarter ending July was £805.372, the iaigest deficit since the operation of the present general wage agreement. The volume of labour employed is the smallest since 1904, 163,000, compared with 197,000 in the early part of 192 1.
