OUTBREAK OF FIRE
MASTERTON HOUSE DAMAGED. Masterton, August 13. An outbreak of fire occurred this afternoon at the residence of Mr. G. Sutherland, 34 Perry Street, Masterton. The fire was caused by a painter’s blowlamp which was being used on the front wall of the house. The walls, lining and paper in the front room were damaged to the extent of £2O. The dwelling is insured for £6OO.
