COMING TO NEW ZEALAND FOR HOLIDAY MATCH IN AMERICA IN NOVEMBER (Australian Press Assn. United Service.) New York, August 1. Admitting that he had received an offer from an Australian source for a series of fights in Australia, Tom Heeney told an interviewer definitely that he would not accent. He explained, ’in the best place I am going to New Zealand simply tor a holiday, and do not wish to light, besides, I have to be back here for a fl B ht in November, so I shall not have time to go to Australia.” Heeney’s date of departure is not jet settled. He is considering motoring across the continent to San Francisco, leaving there on August 8, but he may change his plans. ASPIRANTS FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP (Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) The "Vancouver Sun” states that Tex Rickard, with ar. eye to the box office receipts, will undoubtedly again interview Dempsey in order to try and induce him to appear once more, following on motion picture contracts which will. occupy him tor the next three months.
