4. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING A meeting of tho management committee of the Wellington Football Association was held last night, Mr. W. Duncan preSi lt°was decided that the Chatham Cup final be played at the Basin Reserve on August 25. A charge to the New Zealand Association of £2O will be made for the use of the ground. The chairman stated that the Hastings United—Petone intel-provincial game would be played at the Basin Reserve, lhe Wellington Centre guaranteeing ,’ 0 the Hastings team for expenses. Illis would be a far better proposition for the Petone team, which would have to meet only expenses to Auckland. On Saturday (July 21) the takings at the Hutt Recreation Ground will be devoted to charily. . The Marist team in the senior l> division has been withdrawn owing to a scarcity of players. Waterside will thus '^Brooklyn 6 will default to Island Bay in the second A division this Saturday, because of sickness in the team.
