ETON DEFEATS HARROW AN EXCITING FINISH (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) London, July 15. Eton defeated Harrow in the annual inter-college cricket match, by 28 runs. Eton in the first innings made 126, and in the second 415 for eight wickets declared (Akers-Douglas 158, Sheepshanks 69, De Lisle 67). Harrow made 234 and 279 (Lindsay 68). Eton won a surprising victory, over Harrow at Lord's, after One of the most exciting matches in the hundred years’ history of this annual event. Eton in their two innings scored 126 and 415 for eight wickets (declared). Harrow's totals were 234 and 279. Eton, after extra time had been pljiyed. succeeded in dismissing Harrow with 28 runs in hand. Their victory was largely due to Akers-Douglas, who scored 158.
