The appointment of a grader to deal With all the maize to be shipped from Gisborne was decided upon at a meeting of Gisborne grain and produce merchants (states the “Herald'’). It had been suggesfed some time ago that such an appointment should be made, and after fully investigating the position tho dealers considered it would be in the interests of both the growers and merchants. It has been decided to recommend an appointment to flic New Zealand Grain and Produce Merchants’ Federation.
