INCREASE IN NEW SOUTH WALES LAST YEAR

l Sydney, July 11. The annual report of the New South M’ales Department o* Mines disclosed that the coal output for 1927 was 11,125.1 II toils, raided at the pit mouth at £9,783,002, an increase of 240,318 tons weight ami £345,482 in value conn pared with the previous year. The tonnage has only been exceeded twice, while the value was the highest ever r.corded.

The gold yield showed a decrease iu value of £5950.
