lu order to gain information from American educationists on the Bible in schools question a questionnaire was sent but by the secretary of the Citizens’ Bible in Schools’ Committee, New Zealand, to superintendents of city schools in United States of America. Nearly all the superintendents of schools who have’ replied, some twenty in number, agree that the teaching in schools of portions of the Bible, including the Ten Commandments, would prove ;i factor in reducing crime, and most agree that Bible instruction should form part or au elementary education system in the interests of culture and character formation.
