DARING BURGLARY
MUSIC WAREHOUSE ENTERED .
Dominion Special Service. Auckland, June 18.
Remarkable daring characterised the breaking aud entering of the Bristol Piano Company’s premises in Karangaliape Road early this morning. A cabinet gramophone, valued at £4O, and several sound-boxes from other machines, and a number of spare parts, were stolen b.v the thieves, who worked with thoroughness. It is suspected that the stolen goods were taken away in a motor-car. Entrance had been gained through a high window, which had apparently been reached with the aid of a long ladder. Once the intruders had gained an entrance, they could find their way down into the basement of the establishment, and unlock the doors leading out into the back c” the building.
