MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED

John William Gardiner, aged 22 years, residing at the Grand National Hotel, Petone, while riding a motor-cycle in Lambton Quay late on Monday night came into collision with n tramcar. Gardiner was thrown heavily to the ground, and suffered injuries to his head. He was conveyed by the Free Ambulance to the Hospital, and was admitted there at 11.30 p.m.
