The ladies’ provincial golf tournament was continued to-day in the best of weather. Better golf was shown' than on the first day, Miss Acheson, doing the best round with a score of 79 gross, against 78 bogey for the course. In the second round of the championship : — Miss Acheson beat Mrs. A. Allan, 8 and 7. Mrs. Dodson beat Miss Hair. 3 and 2. Miss Harkness beat Mrs. McLaren, 3 and 2. Miss Lucas beat Miss Gray,. 2 and 1. In the semi-finals: — Alias Acheson beat Mrs. Dodson, 0 and 5. Miss Harkness beat Miss Lucas, 3 and 2. Miss Acheson won the second medal, senior division, 79—1—73 and Mrs. McLaren won the junior division', 103—21—82. The four-ball bogey match was won by Mrs. Acheson and Mrs. McLaren. 9 up. Other cards were as follows:: Miss F. Clark and Hayes, 2 up: Miss Hogg and Mrs. Thompson, all square; Mrs. Milner and Miss Hair, 2 down.
