MOTOR REGULATIONS

THE REAR REFLECTOR

Dominion Special Service. Wanganui, May 14.

The Wanganui Automobile Association has obtained from the Public V/orks Department an official statement on the rear reflector question. The Department states that, provided the tail* light incorporates a red glass, which lias a surface of not less than two square inches in area, which effectually reflects any light of any vehicle approaching from the rear, then no additional fitting is needed to the car. If, however, the tail light does not meet with these requirements, there must be attached as near as possible to the tail light an effective red reflector in accordance with the clause.
