MOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at •*-' a Special Meeting of the Hutt County Council, held in the Council Chambers, 68 Lambton Quay, Wellington, at 7 o’clock p.m. on Friday, April 20, 1928. the following Resolution was passed .— THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Counties Act, 1920, Section 17 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behali enabling and with the consent of the .ratepayers of the No. 26 Special Rating District, being portion of the Heretaunga Riding, in the County of Hutt, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating District, the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said County are collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:—
1. THAT the Council proceed to raise a loan of Seven hundred pounds (<£7oo) for the purpose of constructing a watersupply. 2. THAT such, loan be called “lhe Hutt County-Heretaunga Water Supply Loan of .£7OO, 1928/’ 3. THAT the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of Twenty (20) years commencing on the first day of April, 1928. and maturing on the first day of April, 1948. 4. THAT the interest on the said loan shall be at the rate of Six pounds (£6 os. Od.) per centum per annum and shall be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and October in each and every year. 5. ’THAT the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be seven (7) debentures of One hundred pounds (£100) each and relative coupons in a form in conformity . with the provisions of the I.coal Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926. 6. THAT the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said loan and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon the special rate of twenty-two one-hundredths (22-100ths) of a penny iu the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital va '' le ) of all rateable property in the Ao. 26 Special Rating District, .being portion of the Heretaunga Riding, in the Countv of Hutt. . , . 7. THAT the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington. 8. THAT the cost of raising the loan be paid out of the loan.
