“The Times” correspondent at Riga says that the Soviet leaders are exceedingly uneasy regarding the consequences of the arrest of Bela Kun in Vienna. Fearing a delicate situation, they have ordered the Soviet representatives at Vienna to do their utmost in an effort to prevent Bela Kun’s extradition to Hungary. The Communist International, in a meeting of protest, urged energetic interference, if the Austrians handed over Kun to the “Hungarian hangmen.” COMMUNISTS ARRESTED IN EGYPT DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES (“Times" Cables.) London, May 7. The Cairo correspondent of “The Times” says that the authorities have arrested 21 Russian, Italian, and Greek Communists in Cairo and Alexandra. Those arrested were regarded as the backbone of a revival of Communism, and their activities had become a serious danger. Other arrests are imminent. Many documents have been seized. DISTURBING COMMUNISTS ARRESTED IN PERTH Perth, May 8. A Communist disturbance during the May Day procession led to four Communists being arrested. Others were dispersed. «
