CITIZENS’ WAR MEMORIAL

Sir, —The words “erroneous data” in the second paragraph of my letter to the Prime Minister, published in this morning’s issue, do not in any way refer to the measurements of the site on the citv town planner’s drawing. They refer wholly to the fact that measurements were given of a fresh unauthorised design—thus leading to the confusion referred to in my last paragraph. I should like to take this opportunity of stating that I had, during the preparation of my report, the valuable assistance of the city town planner and the city engineer, which I heartily appreciated.—l am, etc., 1 S. HURST SEAGER.
