This week’s issue of the “New Zealand Sporting and Dramatic Review” is profusely illustrated with topical subjects that will atract general attention. The centre pages are devoted to snapshots of patrons at the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting nt Ellerslie, making an animated series, while the three-coloured supplement of the stirring finish in the Victoria Handicap will be another keen source of interest. The Avondale Jockey Club’s meeting is also represented in a comprehensive series, depicting starts and finishes of leading events. Parents will be specially drawn to the fine photographic pages of pupils of the Mount Albert Grammar School. The Otorohanga Sports Club’s gathering has an interesting showing of novel photographs, covering two full pages. A special feature which will attract the attention of all footballers is the fine full-page reproduction of the All Black Rugby football team taken prior . to their departure to South Africa. The stage and film have an attractive set of " portraits, and fashion and the social sections will carry a prominent appeal. In the numerous miscellaneous illustrations are the exhibition match bv the All Blacks at Athletic Park and their departure; Franco Georgetti and Gerard de Baets, the Italian cyclists; the Hon.
