Currie, of Toronto, was threatened bv Mr. Justice Rose with imprisonment for contempt of Court end severely rebuked for an answer as to Genera) Currie’s military character. Several ex-service men gave evidence of seeing Canadian casualties <it Mons after the Armistice was signed. Counsel for the defence declared that he believed there was a determination bv officials to refuse to disclose the true state of affairs regarding the casualties to the Canadian Corps on-Armis-tice Day.
