MEETING OF WELLINGTON CENTRE. I . The Wellington Centro of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association lilt-L on Tuesday, Mr. A. C. Kitto presiding. ' . t Messrs. J. Stalker (Port Nicholson Road Cycling Club), L. Bond (Olympic Harriers), and R. Spence (Wellington Harriers), new delegates, were welcomed. The Wairarapa Sub-«entre wrote stating that it was presenting Scanden with a banner in recognition of his wins in championship events at the Masterton meeting. Another letter sent by the Petone Club was received stating that in a meeting held there on March 31, the corner man reported that Scarf deliberately fouled Horsful. No further action was laken, as the offence was not reported to the referee or to rhe stewards. Mr. G. H. Lusk: The centre’s delegate to the New Zealand Council tendered his resignation, and Mr. G. S. Bright was appointed to the position. It was decided to donate AM to the Canterbury Centro towards the hospital expenses of F. Grose. The meeting decided to call a conference of the clubs of the Hawke’s Bay and Poverty Bay districts, to be held at Napier, one delegate to be asked to attend from each amalcur club, and a delegate from the centre also to he present.
