Signor Uendandi, seismologist, the whole of whose last year’s prophecies have been fulfilled, says new poweiful earthquakes are imminent. A big telluric movement will occur simultaneously in Southern Europe and in some submarine zones of the South Pacific. The most critical days will be March 23 and March 24, while April will be the most uneasy month in many zones of the globe. VIOLENT EARTHQUAKE IN MEXICO CITY (Rec. March 22, 8.30 p.m.) Mexico City, March 21. A violent earthquake shook city on Wednesday night. It lasted neatly two minutes.' ft caused great alarm, but only minor damage is reported.
