Waitara and its environs experienced the full effect of a severe thunderstorm which was distinctly heard in New I lymonth a few- days ago (states I lie "larannki Herald”), and al least one man has reason to be thankful that he escaped serious injury, ami per haps death. Mr. \nslis know no more foi half an hour, and was picked up unconscious. An examination by Dr. Adamson disclosed no injury. ami the doctor concluded thaf.
