HERD TESTING
MANAWATU ASSOCIATION.
Palmerston North, March 22.
( Mr- W. H. Gimbjett presided at the induthly meeting of the Manawatu Herdtesting Association iu Palmerston North this morning. • A letter was received from Mr. W. A. lorns; Martinborough, stating that tlie matter of caff-marking had not been mentioned at the Subsidy Allocation Board meeting. With regard to the .request that. the minutes of board meetings be sent to individual associations, he was of the' opinion that the expense would be too great, but he suggested that more details of board meetings be published in the press. The matter would be brought up at the next board meeting, and l:e would be pleased to give any Information on the policy of the board. The association decided to thank Mr. lorns for his offer of help. The Manawatu A. and P. Association advised that the dates of the winter show would be June 19 to 23, and asked for dates of proposed meetings of the association. The association decided to circularise the various branches. Accounts totalling £2OO 12s. dd. were passed for payment.
