ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS
ANNUAL MEETING OF SOCIETY.
“ Vccountanev as a profession has not looked back since the establishment of this society twenty-five years ago,” said Mr. E. W. Hunt, in his president-ial address to the annual meeting of the Accountant Students’ Society last night, “and I think that the society could take some credit for the interest which both, the examiners and the commercial community have taken in accountancy examinations since that date.” The ehairman, in reviewing the annual report, said that the syllabus of the past year had been one of the best provided for a number of years, the fubjects having been practical ones. The library had been of considerable value, and was probablv the finest accountancy library in the Dominion. The election of officers resulted: —President, Mr. Ernest W. Hunt; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs. J. L. Griffen, F. HBass, C. M. Bowden. IV. Green, and E. I?. Norman; secretary ,Mr. T. Auton; treasurer, Mr, C. F. Worth; committee, Messrs. R. H. D. Hall, F. E. Feist, F. 11. Harris, L. 0. Atkinson, H FClayton, and E. Cannons; auditor, Mr, L. O. Austin. Congratulations were extended to Mr, Justice Blair on his elevation to the Supreme Court bench.
