LAST MONTH’S IMPORTS AND EXPORTS (Rec. March 13, 5.5 p.m.) London. March 12. The imports during February increased bv £1,991,000, exports bv £4,299,000; and t e-exports bv £858,000. The principal increases in imports were: Meat, £774,000; food and drink, non-dutiable £2,228,000, and dutiable £1,024.000, raw wool, £1,556,000; leather and manufactures thereof, £883,000. In exports the chief increases were: Food and drink, £633,000; cotton, and yarns manufactures, £834,000; vehicles, £506,000. The principal decreases in imports were: Coal. £923,000; iron and steel manufactures, £1.121.000; oils and fats manufactured, £717,000. In exports the chief decrease was: Coal, £830,000.
