Visiting Wellington at present are Air. and Mrs ] Weir, of Woodford, Essex, who have just finished a tour of the South Island and are to leave for Rotorua on Friday Air. Weir is a member of the firm of Green, Sil.ey, and Weir, engineers and ship repaners of London. Travelling with Mr. and Airs. Weir are Air. and Airs. Al. Alpine, of Ayrshire Scotland, and their son and daughter Mr. Alpine, who is an enthusiastic walker and climber, recently did the Te Anau-Milford Sound track walk, which he considers the finest feature he has seen in New Zealand. Mr F. Goldberg, governing director of the Goldberg Advertising Agency, Ltd., left for Sydney yesterday by the Makura. , Mr W O. McKellar, has been nominated : bv the Otago stock and station agents as their representative on the Rural Intermediate Credits Board.— Press Assn.
