NO EXHIBIT AT SAMOA

A meeting of the Wellington Manufacturers’ Association was held yesterdav afternoon. the secretary of the Department of Industries and Commerce wrote, stating that in view of the present boycott of European goods in Samoa, the Secretary of External Affairs advised postponing the exhibit of New Zealandmade goods on board the Maui Pomare. The'New Zealand Olympic Association advised that it would not be going outside the Dominion for the goods required to equip the New Zealand team for the Olympic Games. Satisfaction was expressed at this assurance, and it was decided to vote £5 ss. towards the Olympic Games fund. Some discussion took place regarding daylight saving, and it was unanimously’decided to support the measure, which, it was stated, made for the improved health and efficiency of employees.
