Bi’ Telegraph— Press Association. i Auckland, February 20. David Willerton. aged 11. the only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Willerton. of Papatoetoe. was drowned this evening while bathing at Papatoetoe. A companion of tho same age. who was unable to swim and who was watching from tlie bank, saw the boy disappear without a. struggle. Help was obtained, but when the Ixidy was recovered lite was extinct.
